So...
I will have to write stuff of substance that is supposed to go on an "About Me" page...
ABOUT THIS BLOG:
I am the type of woman that will stay up until 2AM writing an about me page for a personal blog that I do not plan on monetizing because I hope that it will bring value to someone's life on a daily basis.
I also am dedicating my time during quarantine to help out members in & outside of my community during this COVID19 crisis by providing this free service because I believe it matters.
I hope that my blog(s) will bring the people that are actively seeking out this labor of Serenity and celebrate having the option to take a little bit of that daily mindfulness with them on-the-go, or on their lunch break, or just quarantined at the house.
The mindfulness practice can be put into effect in the lives that exists offline with just a little bit of practice; social distancing can make it THAT much harder to just get to a meeting TODAY.
I hope that having a the option of having the daily meditation in your back-pocket can help bring the meeting to you; when you need it. You are welcome on this page even if it is just for today.
Well, I blog on my personal time...
I plan on starting similar blogs for other issues such as: co-dependency, victim advocate/domestic violence, and other informative blogs in the future in hopes that it will also help my fellow man rise above their circumstances and/or at least not fall privy to them.
A Little Bit About Me: Story Time
I have been blogging, graphic designing, creating content, figuring out stuff, and developing my techy & creative interests for as long as I can remember.
Once upon a time; not long ago...
I was of that golden age when an entire household of people would get uber annoyed with me because I'd hog the phone lines every waking hour I was grounded to the home base.
One line was always busy because I needed to talk with my best friend(s)/boyfriend or else I'd just die. The other line I hogged was to utilize dial up to make Myspace pages, build chat rooms, browse forums, and spend hours learning how to submit rejected writing in a multitude of different ways for the fun and experience of it. I was learning how to live the (.com) dream.
I do love to write. Sadly, not a lot of folks now love to read. I do love to read; I have always been a "bookworm". I can get lost in between the lines of a book for as long as I can get away with it. I've always been known as a bit "wordy" or for having a "smart mouth".
I have strong opinions & values that I believe in but like any normal human in this day and age; I am just as insane and/or living in insanity as the next person because I am just human too. No bot god here.
Before I ran out of money, credit, and the will to live and accepted my only human status as permanent...
There was a time I was a 3.7 GPA student on a dual degree track (BS in Computer Science with a minor in cyber security/BA in English literature with a minor in creative writing at The Evergreen State College.
My brain was in hog heaven then but the daily grind of life as I knew it was so soul shattering.
I won't get into all the arbitrary details of my own Gates of Hell story because who wants to live in the past when there is the present and the ability to shape your own future!
A Little Bit More About Me:
I believe that anyone can transform themselves and shape their livelihoods into whatever "living their best life" looks like to that individual. I am all about changing your own heart, mind, and habits so that it can be put into action to make the entire world a better place for all. I believe that one person can make a difference. That difference starts with you, me, and whoever else wants to make the world a better place...one thought, one act, one person at a time. I am one person.
